The 2015-2016 budget for the Police Department includes funding for the lease/purchase of marked/unmarked police vehicles to replace vehicles that will be taken out of service due to age, mileage, and significant mechanical issues. The additional vehicles will replace twelve (12) vehicles. It is the intention of the Huntersville Police Department to obtain these vehicles at the state contract price.
