Recognize grant revenue in the amount of $59,961 to provide for minor system improvements to portions of Torrence Creek. Funds will be used for design and construction. Matching grant funds in the amount of $81,905 will be provided by the storm water fund.
The Town signed an interlocal agreement with Mecklenburg County on June 16, 2015 to participate in the combined project. Mecklenburg County received grant funds of $400,000 along with their matching funds of $1,276,264. The Town and Mecklenburg County will work together on the project.
